THE BRIEF

We were approached by WAGS, a new dog grooming and retail start up, to firstly create a brand and business launch materials that would position them as a premium offering and drive interest, engagement and ultimately sales.

As a new player in a fairly competitive market, we knew we had to create something unique that would stand out from the competition. 

THE SOLUTION

WAGS was heavily influenced by the media’s portrayal of the football WAGS fraternity and the demanding persona that we often hear about. We wanted to emulate this with a dog, creating the bitchy, sassy, pooch icon that is the star of the show, using the famous L’Oreal strapline, “Because I’m worth it!” to support the ad concepts.

The iconic dog is now synonymous with the WAGS brand, used widely across all their marketing materials to position the business as a quality offering, providing a premium level of service.
